We asked a group of our students to record a short video about their experience at Apex. Eighteen of them did, and we put them all on our Hall of Fame page. Here is what they told us, in their own words and in a few common themes.
The results they shared
Eight of the students took our IELTS courses. Seven of them shared their IELTS score: four reported a 7.5 and three reported a 7. The eighth, Sahar, took our IELTS Intensive course and told us about the experienced teachers and the results learners reach. Here is Farzad:
Farzad got to know the academy five years ago and says the courses helped him get a 7 in IELTS. Shiva took four courses and reported a 7.5:
"Organized" and "carefully put together"
The most common comment was about how the courses are built. Bahar, who took a 70-hour course, said it was very organized and the material was well presented. Omid, who attended four courses, said the material in each is designed for the needs of language learners. Antonio, from Italy, said the course material is carefully put together:
Teachers and support
Several students mentioned the people behind the courses. Antonio said the teachers are experienced and knowledgeable. Sahar pointed to the experienced teachers and the results learners achieve. Hossein, who has known the academy since 2019, said he reached a 7.5 in IELTS thanks to the remarkable support he received. Almost every student ended the same way: they said they would recommend the academy to other English learners, and several said they would not hesitate to do so.
Staying for more than one course
Many students came back. Nima said he took almost every course the academy offered. Melika said that she and her friends took more than three. Mohsen took two courses, Katy several, and Tina some of them. Students told us they had known the team for anywhere from one year to more than five.
Beyond the test score
Vesal told us that, with the help of the team, he was able to get admission to a university in Canada. Hamidreza, who is based in Barcelona, and Antonio, who is in Italy, show that our classes work for students outside Canada too, because everything is online.
